Charter of RDA

   1. Conduct research on any issues of rural development;

   2.Organize training for government personnel and others involved in rural development;

   3.Carry out experiment and investigate data on strategy and methodology of rural development;

   4.Evaluate programmes and associated to rural development;

   5.Provide advices and consultations to government and other organisations;

   6.Direct and supervise activities or cooperate to perform activities of local and foreign people engaged in higher research in rural development;

   7.Arrange and conduct national and international seminars, conferences and workshops;

   8. Assist government to formulate policy in the area of rural development;

   9. With the permission of government, undertake joint programmes on research, education and training in the issues of rural development with foreign or international institutions;

 10. With the permission of government, introduce diploma certificate course on the issuses of rural development
